All to You, I surrender, everything, every part of me.

All to You, I surrender, all of my dreams, all of me.

Recently thinking and evaluating my life, all I could think was that I’m not good enough. Not good enough to get into the college I really wanted, to get more scholarships to pay for school, to get into a graduate school, to be a part of SPRINT Core, and so much more. I cried and cried and couldn’t handle it anymore. Then a friend asked me, “Why don’t you just lay it all down at God’s feet?” All I could say was, “I tried.” How could that be all I say? I can’t give up. Thinking about it more, I realized that God is just using me. He’s breaking me down to my core so that I can fully trust in Him and lay everything down at His feet. Only then can He truly mold me, and use me for His purpose. It’s hard because I’m trying too hard to hold onto control of my hopes and dreams, but I realize that I need to give them up to God. I need to put my full trust into God and know that He has a plan for me. It may not happen anytime soon, but I need to keep trying. It may be difficult, but Your love makes it worth it all.

No turning back, I’ve made up my mind.

I’m giving all of my life this time.

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.”

Isaiah 12:2 (ESV)
